HR Executive with global business turnaround expertise

Salary expectations: Overall package of US$1.3M or above with minimum base salary expectation US$500,000.

Current home country: US with mobility to travel across North America and Europe

Mobility Considerations: US citizen. I am open to commuting (and used to spending 2 weeks every month at various work locations). I am very comfortable with in-person, remote and hybrid working. Relocation of family should be possible in circa 3 years.

Team management: Currently leading a global HR team of 45, inclusive of HR Business Partners across all regions, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and HR Services. I have oversight of an HR outsourcing service provider as well.

Current/recent employer: Recent employer - health industry company with revenues over US$1.1 billilon and operations in the US, Ireland, and China.

  1. Global Perspective: Deep experience in global markets, with on-the-ground roles in the US, Singapore, and India, and management responsibility for Latin America. Have led diverse global businesses with responsibility for teams across all regions.

Strategic Human Capital Leadership: Key player in the spinoff of a key business division; then building commercial and functional capabilities aligned to growth strategies, including R&D, sales, distribution, and manufacturing. Expertise in leadership development, succession planning, total rewards and DEI in union and non-union organizations.

  3. Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Established organizational blueprints that powered the newly spun off company launch on an accelerated timeline and enabled a significant turnaround within key divisions. Facilitated the integration of an acquired business into the parent organization.

Commerciality: I’ve been directly involved in efforts to turnaround an underperforming business, requiring a multi-pronged strategy including restructuring to create space for investing in diagnostics growth platforms, building the capabilities required for future growth aligned to business strategy, creating an effective organization design centered around cross-functional platform teams, and a comprehensive employee engagement plan. Execution of this strategy resulted in successful turnaround of the business, and the positive results (topline, new product launches, margin improvement) were sustained even after both the business leader and I moved on to other roles.
