Regional HR Business Partner Leader - flex work location

We're seeking an HR professional for a multinational company that is investing heavily to add into its product portfolio.   Additionally, the company is evolving under new leadership, and the current expansion plans have created a need for a high performance HR leader who can partner with management teams to enable these growth plans in key countries.

This role will span over 7 countries inclusive of Germany plus central and eastern European jurisdictions which will bring constant variety for day to day challenges.

Immediate work priorities include building solutions for talent development, hiring, building more robust frameworks to allow for scale, and plenty of involvement with global projects as well.  Other demands, in addition to managing a small HR team, include instigating career development pathways for this niche skilled workforce, and supporting sales leaders to attract, engage and retain key talent.

Realistically, whilst this HR leader will be expected to be a strategic support partner, the reality is that in this stage of the company’s evolution; HR systems, policies, processes and initiatives are still being developed; so an element of “hands on” work can be expected in the short term.

This is a leadership team who needs someone to have opinions and to be a visible and inspiring leadership presence. Ideally, this HR leader will offer a strong history of proactive business partnership with advanced commercial acumen. Additionally, we are seeking:

  •  Advanced knowledge of German employment legislation, and any other jurisdictional employment law knowledge for central and/or eastern Europe will be useful 

  • A history of supporting technical and/or sales workforces (not essential but useful) 

  • Fluent German and English language skills.

  • Expertise for organisational design and change management

  • A mindset for finding solutions rather than simply being the “policy police”

This is a remote based position with 25-35% travel across the region. Package includes a base salary equivalent to circa €100,000 (depending on experience level) plus bonus and benefits.
