Senior HR Business Partner - global sales - remote work

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This well resourced company is led by an executive team who “walk the talk” on the importance of family, health, wellbeing and career development. Just one of the reasons why one of our favourite CHRO’s was lured to join them recently.

The company has grown significantly since inception, and has plans to again double the size of its workforces and revenues in the immediate future. The appetite to invest heavily in HR team capabilities to aid this growth, has led to the creation of this role for an experienced HR Business Partner. This person will support workforces and leadership teams based across the USA, many of whom are commercial sales professionals managing contracts of many zeros in value.

Working closely with executive teams and the CHRO, this person will directly contribute to upgrading the entire HR service delivery model, acting as a commercially astute consulting partner to leaders who are hungry for proactive support and guidance. Immediate priorities for this role include audit, refinement and implementation of:

  • talent management and development strategies

  • benefits and wellbeing strategies

  • legislative employment compliance across multiple states

  • tools for connectivity and collaboration to allow new employees to successfully and sustainably deliver results with remote work arrangements

  • HR technologies to reduce administration and tactical work

  • workforce planning to maximise productivity, career pathways, and international work secondments

This person will need to have a natural curiosity with the ability to look at every HR tool, process and policy and questioning whether it is:

  • fit for purpose for a multi generational workforce?

  • driving desired behaviours and outcomes?

  • reflecting the culture of employee care beyond just legislative requirements?

  • enabling the attraction and engagement of new niche skilled talent?

  • allowing for promotion based on merit?

  • reinforcing DEI whilst remaining fair and equitable to other country markets?

  • scalable to flex to and facilitate ongoing expansion?

We are seeking an HR professional with strong all-round generalist skills and a flair for genuine business partnerships with data driven communities. An ambitious professional will have opportunities to “bolt on” additional international site responsibilities as part of a career development plan, and possibilities to lead and/or mentor other less experienced HR professionals.

Package includes a base salary of USD $130,000 (with options to increase depending on experience level) plus a annual performance bonus and exceptional healthcare benefits. Whilst the company is fully setup for remote working, monthly visits to Chicago and/or Montreal and/or other key sites in North America will be required. This role is only available to current US citizens and green card holders.

If this sounds like the challenge you've been seeking for your next career move, please do make contact directly and in confidence via solutions@cartermorris.com quoting CMTS00341. Interviews are being scheduled currently, with a view to an employment offer being extended in the coming weeks.

Many job boards “scrape” websites to find job ads, tweak the content, and re-post them without permission to increase job seeker and potential advertiser appeal for their own site.
