HR Business Partner - perfect for those who love to travel!

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This financial services company has experienced significant growth in a relatively short span of time, and as it continues to expand into new territories and asset management classes, its management teams are cognizant that ongoing growth will be dependent on an ability to attract, engage, and retain key talent.

As a result we’re overhauling and upgrading HR capabilities, moving from a traditional “administrative” HR function, to now offering a more pro active advisory and consulting service to business stakeholders who are demanding greater support.

So we’re seeking a “jack of all trades” HR generalist who understands the unique demands of high fee earning front office workforces, and the regulatory compliances that also need to be factored within this area of the financial services sector. A HR leader who can support on day to day operational queries, training and development, hiring, performance management, and more.

Working as part of a small HR team and reporting into a recently appointed CHRO, this person will need wide ranging HR knowledge, and an advanced understanding of local market employment laws and pending legislations, combined with a genuine intent to provide a truly proactive HR service.

Why do we do it this way?  What should we be exploring to be relevant for the future?  How do we ensure knowledge transfer across multi generational workforces? What do we need to do beyond gimmicks to be truly relevant to our work-forces, and desirable to target talent? How do we get the best value for our employees and our company on a finite budget? How do we leverage reward tools and career development frameworks to drive culture? How are we proving ROI for our people investment initiatives? All of these priorities need to be addressed in this role!

An ability to influence demanding, high net worth individuals will be critical - this is a community who respond to facts and data, evidence and proposed solutions; rather than directions “because the policy says so”.

This person will need to present credibly with gravitas to executive level stakeholders of multi-nationalities; and will need advanced levels of English language fluency - written and verbal.

A work history within firms focussed on wealth/asset and investment management would be useful to fast track knowledge of industry jargon.

And given the “new-ness” of teams being established in various geographies, and the “hand holding” that will be expected from business leaders, we anticipate this person will be travelling weekly between Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva and London - there is no option for this to be a remote working role at this time.

A base salary of circa EUR 130,000 will be accompanied by an annual discretionary performance bonus along with full travel cost support. And as the company continues to expand, genuine options to take on additional geographies and responsibilities exist for ongoing career development.

Interviews will be scheduled quickly, with an appetite for this professional to commence ideally within the coming weeks. Interested professionals can apply directly and confidentially via solutions@cartermorris.com quoting CMTS00354.
