Global Talent Management leader able to relocate internationally

Primary specialism: Talent Management

Markets with deep expertise: Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand

Languages : English. French [not used for a long time]

Salary expectations: Minimum base £150,000 plus package

Workforce types directly supported: With broad experience across multiple sectors [aviation, manufacturing, property, transport & logistics, retail, marine services, education etc.] and geographies, I’ve worked globally with and for a range of populations including executive, senior, middle and junior level, white collar, blue collar, temporary, part time, on-call and agency staff.

Current home country: United Kingdom/France and able to relocate within Asia, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Pacific, North America, South America

Mobility Considerations: British passport holder with Hong Kong permanent resident status

Team management: Over the course of my career, I have been part of and managed both large and small teams. The largest team I’ve led included 8 direct reports, and the smallest 2 direct reports. I have also worked as a sole contributor. My preference would be to lead a lean, agile multi-site team, however I am open to sole contributor roles for the right opportunity.

Current/recent employer: My most recent employer included 15,000 employees across 29 countries with an annual revenue of USD 2B. Notably, the company grew at a rate of 30% year on year, both organically and through acquisitions. Previous employer included 140,000 direct employees spread globally across multiple sectors with multi billion dollar revenues.

Remits of particular interest: A regional or global role with a remit across talent, leadership & management development, L&D and organisational development.

Unique expertise: Having lived and worked all over the world, I bring a breadth and depth of experience to the table: from running my own business, to working across multiple sectors with small and very large organisations locally, regionally and globally. I thoroughly enjoy working with leadership teams at various stages of development to create, nurture and develop high quality programmes.

Commerciality: Challenge: Significant annual recruitment fees for a critical senior management role. Role turn over was approx’ 30%/yr across the group. In addition, poor success rates for new hires and perception of a glass ceiling for high potentials. Solution: Designed and implemented a Senior Talent Moves approach which was part of a wider critical role programme. Outcome: Impact of the initiative was a 70% reduction in recruitment fees for this particular role, with a significant increase in retention rates for existing strong performers and high potentials.

Strengths: A level of maturity that comes with the depth and breadth of exposure and experience gained. An engaged and active listener, team player and a lateral thinker who partners with the business to create sustainable solutions that simply make sense

Need to know: Pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an international mindset.
