Mobility Considerations: UK passport holder only.

Team management: Have led up to 15 direct and 200 indirect reports. Leading teams preferred, but happy to deliver results as a sole contributor.

Current/recent employer: Life sciences company of 120,000 employees and circa US$45 billion revenues. Prior to that, an energy industry company of 32,000 employees and circa $7 billion revenues.

Remits of particular interest: Senior leadership roles with a focus on improvement, change, transformation.

  1. HR Shared Services – maturing the model, acquisitions, reducing footprint, improving process, automation, continuous improvement.

    Scale – Global multi-nationals and small/medium sized businesses

    Operating type - FMCG, Manufacturing, Media, Transport, Business to Business

    Business cycle – partnering with different businesses at distinct phases in their evolution; launch, growth, maturity and decline.

  3. Leadership - Direct experience of leading a large and complex team (200 team members in 20+ countries) aiding empathy and understanding of management challenges.

  4. Significant employee relations experience in complex, volatile, and challenging environments.

  • Identified risks, introduced changes, implemented and established regular Practical Performance Improvement practices globally for HR Shared Services Team (200 team members in +20 countries) resulting in 28% improvement in team productivity.

  • Led a significant EMEA wide business restructuring exercise (500+ people), requiring high precision, which achieved sustainable cost savings of $65m with limited HR resources. Completed within a 3-month period with no legal challenges and minimized operational risk.

  • Working in collaboration with a divisional MD, transformed that division from loss making to profit making in 12 months by minimising costs via structural transformation, strengthening leadership teams and reducing Sales Team turnover by 70%.
