NOW HIRED AND RECEIVING TOP PERFORMANCE RATINGS

Primary specialism: Learning & Development

Markets with deep expertise: Middle East, Subcontinent, Europe (especially Nordics) and North America

Languages : English (mother tongue), Swedish (advanced, verbally fluent)

Salary expectations: Equivalent EUR 160,000 base + package

Workforce types directly supported: Executives, all office-based roles, and I have extensive experience early in my career with blue-collar/manufacturing populations

Current home country: United Arab Emirates

Mobility: Open to relocate into Europe or the USA

Team management: Currently direct/indirect team of 11, largest direct/indirect team of 23

Current/recent employer: Global company of circa 70,000 employees and 8.5B USD Revenues. Previous employers include large, complex matrix, global multinationals who are leaders in their fields

Remits of particular interest: Chief Learning Officer or similar remit, Head of Talent Management/Development, CHRO of a smaller organisation (perhaps start up?) - anything with an interesting and thought-provoking challenge

Unique expertise: Extensive international experience covering Middle East, Subcontinent, Europe and North America, including business travel to more than 50 countries. Full spectrum of hands-on (I’ve not just led it, I’ve done it) experience across the entire CoE spaces of L&D, Leadership Development, Executive Development, Talent Management & Development, and now have taken over the remit of Inclusion & Diversity

Commerciality: Between 2015-2017, proactively streamlined my regional HR team from 23 to 13 FTEs, while achieving the highest change adoption metrics of any region. Have driven global standardisation and centralisation of all management & leadership development resulting in approximately 40% savings globally on spend in current role, touching more than 2x the historical number of participants while achieving all time high metrics across global portfolios – compared to the same team size and budget as when I started.

Strengths: Results through relationships (influence & persuasion). Building great partnerships with business leaders. Functional expertise (I spend 10% of my week looking outside-in). Simplicity in practice. Sustainability (I co-create solutions that are ‘built to last’) .

Need to know: I am the one which almost always builds bridges with that one stakeholder ‘no one gets on with’. I am the one that executives often seek out as a ‘thinking partner’ when they don’t know who to turn to. My team is the one that others want to be a part of. My external network is vast and I share it. I let my own and my team’s results and credibility speak for themselves, I don’t need the spotlight
