Commerciality: 

  • Re-organised global marketing division from geographical-focus into Centres of Excellence to produce a 12% cost saving and 22% reduction in cycle time.

  • As part of a complex 10-year sales contract re-negotiation, moved a USD 4bn sales operation, including 106 staff and families, all processes, support systems and infrastructure from UK to the African continent.

  • Tripled recruitment volume and cut unit cost-to-hire by 50% to meet growth requirements.

  • Established an HR function in a 2-brand start-up tech business; recruited the HR team, selected and installed HRIS, established compensation and benefits programme, introduced OKR management, developed 2 distinct sets of values and behaviours. Set common policies and procedures and a unified approach to diversity and inclusion. Built business to 450 staff in 18 months. Conducted a TUPE-hybrid disposal.

  • Introduced western production and management practices to an Eastern European acquisition and integrated them into a global supply network.

  • Reduced headcount from 580 to 240 in 18 months with no loss of productivity and no industrial action.
