Global Interns and Graduates Talent Management Leader - US based

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This cash-rich, well-resourced company has high levels of executive appetite for supporting graduate talent within their workforce planning strategies. The company has a staff made up of globally scarce, niche skilled professionals, and the management team fully appreciate the need to invest in attracting, engaging, mentoring and developing STEM talent.

They have a proven track record for attracting graduates, year after year, who are interested in cutting-edge technology and engineering projects within this organization.

Now, the leadership team want to go a step further and bring in an expert who can ensure global consistency to the approaches for hiring and developing early career talent. Someone who offers a deep specialist approach for graduate talent acquisition, university relations and events, and management of onboarding and career pathways. This person will be the “go-to” subject matter expert for the full career lifecycle planning for these early-career workforces around the world.

This new role has an emphasis on building from scratch, all of the tools and frameworks that will provide a holistic approach for talent management for these workforces. As a result, we expect this person to be regularly interacting with the company executive team, in addition to marketing, total reward, L&D and talent acquisition teams on a daily basis.

This values-led organization is keen to secure expert professionals who can ideally offer:

  • fluent written & verbal English language skills, fit for board-level presentations

  • direct expertise for graduate hiring - utilising social media, referral programs, in-house events, strong university partnerships and campus-based initiatives to identify, attract and retain future talent

  • direct expertise or interest in developing scalable graduate onboarding, apprenticeship, and mentoring programs

  • direct expertise or interest in designing and implementing career and mobility pathways to deliver exceptional early career and graduate talent opportunities.

  • direct expertise for the development of tailored employer branding and value proposition campaigns

  • direct expertise or interest in creating strategic sourcing and sustainable pipelining programs

  • track record of influencing through complex, matrix, multicultural organizations

  • inspiring leadership presence, with an ability to hire and manage their own team, working through the “today” challenges as well as delivering a positive legacy for the future

  • commercial savvy to manage a significant budget, and an ability to influence through data and analytics rather than pure emotion

This role will ideally be based from the Framingham area of Massachusetts, given we have a hub of global execs in that location.

Pending Covid restrictions, occasional (planned) domestic and long haul travel should be expected.

With a base salary of six figures + STIP + LTIP this package will also include generous benefits that contribute to this company being a genuine employer of choice.  Relocation support is also available for current US citizens and GreenCard holders.
