With a workforce made up of globally scarce, niche skilled professionals, this cash-rich, well-resourced company needs to expand an existing team dedicated to the design and delivery of early career hiring programs and development initiatives that effectively enable the company to “grow its own” workforces of the future.

This company has a proven track record in attracting graduates who are interested in challenging and mission-driven work that is literally helping improve the lives of their end-product users.

Executive appetite for graduate talent within the workforce planning strategies is exceptionally high - the management team fully appreciates the need to invest in attracting, engaging, mentoring and developing STEM talent. They do however need to scale up the team, and bring global consistency to their approaches for hiring and developing early career talent.

Globally the company hopes to double its intake of graduates in the coming year, with a heavy emphasis on European markets, which will be focus of these roles which will consist of a deep specialist approach for graduate talent acquisition or a focus on university relations and events, or management of onboarding and career pathways. And we have genuine options to also combine elements of all of these focus areas in roles that offer a broader blend and holistic approach.

This values-led organisation is keen to secure expert professionals who can ideally offer:

  • fluent English & German language skills

  • direct expertise for graduate hiring - utilising social media, referral programs, in-house events, strong university partnerships and campus-based initiatives to identify, attract and retain future talent

  • direct expertise or interest in developing scalable graduate onboarding, apprenticeship and mentoring programs

  • direct expertise or interest in designing and implementing career and mobility pathways to deliver exceptional early career and graduate talent opportunities.

  • direct expertise for the development of tailored employer branding and value proposition campaigns

  • direct expertise or interest in creating strategic sourcing and sustainable pipelining programs

  • track record of influencing through complex, matrix, multicultural organisations

  • inspiring leadership presence, with an ability to manage a team through the “today” challenges as well as delivering a positive legacy for the future

  • commercial savvy to manage a significant budget, and an ability to influence through data and analytics rather than pure emotion

We have some flex on basing this role from Switzerland, and relocation support for professionals already based within Europe is available. Pending Covid restrictions, occasional (planned) domestic and long haul travel should be expected.
