With the continued growth of this consumer goods company, and its rapid expansion into emerging markets, the Reward function has an urgent need to improve how they effect messaging to business leaders and employees around the world in a more tailored, efficient and agile way; which is driving this need for a communications guru to join their team.

This person will be responsible for initiating and implementing a range of initiatives that will help to attract and engage globally scarce, niche talent; plus engage and retain their existing high-performance professionals in a competitive market where skilled employees have work choices around the world.

This will be a wide-ranging role, targetting communications within a full product lifecycle company, inclusive of production, R&D, supply chain, commercial and corporate functions staff; from C-suite through to entry-level employees. This person will be facilitating presentations and broader communications strategies for an array of compensations and benefits plans, both current and proposed; to ensure engagement, understanding, and utilisation of reward initiatives. This person will also be factoring in workforce and talent management trends, spanning mobility, flex work, contracting vs salaried work, links between performance and reward, and more - all with a view to providing transparency, fairness, equality, and ensuring up to date market intelligence for internal decision-makers.

This person will have a demonstrated track record in leading on global projects to improve candidate and employee and executive experience to help enable C&B strategies. Reporting into the Global VP of Reward, and with a significant communications budget already approved, this company is serious about enabling the success of this role!

Our successful professional will offer the following:

  • Advanced knowledge of the fundamental principles behind compensation and benefits plans; and the milestones within each year that are critical for C&B service delivery

  • Working knowledge of identifying EVPs with a reward lens, and how to successfully operationalize them internally and externally

  • A track record in improving Candidate & Employee experience whilst driving strategic C&B objectives

  • First-hand experience in building and implementing employer branding & engagement campaigns and tools, inclusive of internal and external professional and social media channels

  • Experience with evaluating the utilisation success of core compensation and benefits plans on a global basis, and gaining employee feedback to assess appetites for change and risk management solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, business writing, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence and drive change across a matrix organization.

  • Evidence of creativity and tailoring of events and campaigns unique to various jurisdictions, cultures, and social demographics

  • A stable, salaried career history that shows clear development & advancement within reputable multinational companies - apologies but consulting contractors cannot be considered for this role

  • Formal academic qualifications in communications and/or marketing and/or advertising will be highly regarded, albeit are not essential.

This role will be based ideally from central London; with planned travel expected both nationally and internationally (Covid restrictions permitting) so a current passport and full Covid vaccinations will be essential along with EU or UK citizenship.  There is a small chance this role could also be based from New York City in the USA for current US citizens and/or current Green Card holders.

Salary base starting from equivalent £130,000 plus package.
