Talent Acquisition Leader - San Francisco, California - no more chilly cold winters!

HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER

This role will support a Global TA leader within the biotech sector and will be managing a mid-sized team of TA specialists to provide “white glove VIP” services to an array of stakeholders, whilst formulating “best in class” TA frameworks to enable quality hiring results.

Given the location of key business executives, this role will need to be based exclusively within the San Francisco region and a hefty relocation package will apply if required (inclusive of rental or mortgage subsidy!)

This person will need to inspire, develop and enable delivery performance for their own team, utilising RPO support, to effect all hires needed within a sophisticated corporate community, inclusive of graduate entry through to experienced and executive hires.  Key internal stakeholders will be Business & HR Executives and their leadership teams, based within the USA and abroad.

There is an appetite to take the TA function beyond being simply an effective recruitment service.  Currently the team have reasonably good process and frameworks for day to day service delivery.  However, with an increasing scarcity of their niche skilled, globally scarce candidates, we need a holistically minded TA leader who can innovate on more pro-active, creative and resourceful solutions for finding, securing and keeping talent.

Thought leadership will be welcomed to improve upon the utilisation of tech, social media, AI, networks, referrals, employer branding, and "candidate experience".  The executive stakeholders are all keen to utilise quality data to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more so this person will need to be comfortable with analytics.

Advanced English will be essential for both written and verbal presentations; and attention to detail (along with juggling skills!), will need to be exceptional.   Direct TA experience within a science driven organisation will be useful, along with a stable work history demonstrating delivery success within complex, matrix environments.

This company has a heavy emphasis on collaboration and “pulling together” to achieve results, but with a lot of “super brains” across the workforce the level of intellectual debate is high!

Salary and package is reflective of the cost of living in the Bay area, with above-market  relocation support (including an extended period of considerable rental or mortgage subsidy), exceptional annual bonus potential and LTIP awards, and financial consideration to avoid loss on any accrued performance bonuses and / or LTIP vesting values. This hire is available to US citizens and professionals who have immediate eligibility for a US work visa.

This will be a particularly interesting career role for an ambitious TA professional who is keen to progress to VP level, and additional career development options will be available to specialists who have an interest in working abroad.
