Global VP for Organisational Design, Change and Talent Management - flex location

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This reputable, international employer has an ongoing agenda for company growth. With a workforce consisting of increasingly scarce, niche skilled professionals, the leadership team knows they need to invest in talent management expertise, thus the creation of this new, well-resourced role that will span across multiple talent project priorities.

First and foremost will be the assessment of existing leaders and staff to determine the full scope of skill sets and knowledge, and potential for transferable skills as part of creating a career pathways agenda. These assessments should also determine the potential for persons to redeploy to other markets and their likelihood of success given the expectation for cultural sensitivity and adaptability for integration into other countries. These audits should then lead into additional projects designed to address skill and succession gaps, whilst further developing a diverse, inspiring leadership team and workforce that has this currently agile company fit for “future state” operations and an ongoing competitive edge.

This person will also ideally be viewed as the “go-to” expert, in aiding an array of stakeholders on organisational design elements. With consistent growth occurring through new product development (creating new market streams) plus acquisitions, there are many adjustments needed for scalable and robust frameworks for enabling more efficient business operations, and the protection of an entrepreneurial culture. Strategies and tools to support change management interventions, inclusive of internal and external communications plans that are tailored for multiple jurisdictions and recipients, would also fall within this role.

Creating and leading dedicated teams to lead on talent acquisition, learning & development, and global mobility would naturally complement the scope of this role, which will report directly to a CHRO, with high levels of support from a “talent aware” executive team.

We’re seeking an experienced, dedicated Talent Management specialist who has:

  • exceptional knowledge of working across the nuances of multi-jurisdictional companies, tailoring programs to suit the demands of multi-cultural and multi-generational workforces

  • a track record of successfully leading and working through complex OD and change projects

  • provided thought leadership on “future of work” talent management initiatives across a variety of dynamic industry sectors

  • evidence of working at pace and being able to influence and gain advocacy as a result of measuring ROI from initiatives

  • advanced consulting and collaboration skills; along with board-level, written and verbal English proficiency

  • an overarching approach that seeks to enhance employee attraction, engagement, performance and retention; and builds upon an “employer of choice” market brand

  • proven expertise in building and developing exceptional teams of experts for learning & development, talent acquisition, global mobility.

This role is available to current residents/work visa holders of the USA, UK, Canada, and key countries within the EU. The six-figure base salary (equivalent from US$200,000) will be accompanied by a healthy STIP and generous LTIP. Financial consideration is also on offer to offset any potential loss of accrued performance bonuses and pending LTIP payments.

Interviews are currently being scheduled with a view to appointing this expert leader in the coming weeks. The hiring “wishlist” criteria is reasonable, and we’re happy to elaborate to interested professionals, who can apply directly and in confidence via solutions@cartermorris.com quoting CMTS00300.
