Interim contract, immediate start, Compensation & Benefits Projects

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL WORK CONTRACT OFFER

We’re seeking a Compensation and Benefits specialist for one of our "hyper -growth" technology employers for an initial 3 month fixed-term contract. The business has been through a significant growth period, they have expanded into multiple countries rapidly, and are seen as a market leader in their field.

Whilst the COVID pandemic has slowed growth plans in the short term, the priorities of the relatively new HR and executive team remain the same, inclusive of:

  1. further development of the people agenda,

  2. ensuring that all areas of HR continue to work as true partners to enable business success,

  3. clever utilization of C&B tools in the attraction, retention and engagement of talent, which in turn, will help to drive further innovation and company growth

Reporting to the Global Compensation & Benefits Director, this professional will be providing advice and be accountable for operational delivery on multiple projects including support for end of year compensation processes, job leveling, bonus plan designs, workforce planning & budgeting, and more.

Being such a new company, the existing C&B team predominately use Google Sheets to track and calculate data so this person will need advanced spreadsheet and data manipulation skills, as the reward function is yet to align with the global HRIS.

This is a critical post to support the existing team, and add real value to HR and business leaders, so we need a no-nonsense, delivery focused, practical person who is prepared to work on getting day to day work done fast and well.  All input for plan and frameworks design must be done with the potential for plans to develop and adapt for the size and scale of the business planned for the future.

An ability to work through a culture of constant change and ambiguity will be essential – this company still has many traits of the typical “startup” enterprise culture and simply doesn’t have appetite for internal politics or people who are precious about staying within a formally structured job description – it really is about “all hands to the pump”!

We’d also like to secure a professional with a truly international mindset given that stakeholders are currently scattered across Europe and Latin America.

This is a 100% remote working position, so reliable and fast internet speed access, and a dedicated home office space will be required.  Ideally, this person will be based in Europe but our hiring leader is happy to review other locations with the relevant experience and have the ability to work in the relevant time zones.  Salary is up to €80,000 base pro rota plus benefits.  English is the primary language, and Spanish or Portuguese languages would be beneficial (but are not essential).

Interviews are being held currently with this role scheduled to start in December; and interested professionals can apply directly and in confidence to obtain more information via solutions@cartermorris.com and quoting CMTS00250
