Remits of particular interest: I would be interested in a role that is transformative in nature. I prefer a role at a large company interested in changing the people experience or transforming the HR model, or a CHRO role at a small or mid-sized company that is interested in leveraging people journeys to navigate the future of work.

Unique expertise: My experience in the HR space is uniquely broad, ranging from Executive Compensation to Shared Service turnaround. I also have experience successfully reimplementing Workday as a system of record at a large multinational. To gain a global viewpoint I have extensively traveled and have experience in HR design thinking and journey mapping with focus on delivering the best people experiences while accomplishing core HR objectives.

Commerciality: Over the course of my career 20-year career, I’ve spent 15 years in the HR space across all functions implementing change; cultural, organizational, and technical. A recent project I led achieved HR services turnaround improving user experience from 75% to 94% in 10 months. We also increased manager utilization of services from 75% to 87% in 5 months through intensive change management efforts. This resulted in the successful adoption of the redeployment of HR consulting in the markets toward more strategic and business-focused imperatives. These changes not only resulted in a service turnaround, but a third-party analysis done after 12 months showed the model as more cost-effective (35th%ile) and more productive (65th%ile) than market peers.

Strengths:

  • Proven ability to lead through large change with vision and focus using data driven insights and stakeholder management skills to establish strategy and execute; ensuring this becomes a way of working rather than a never-ending project.

  • Ability to bring an innovation mindset to the organization to close the gap between the experience you want your customers to have and that which your people receive (both technical and human).

  • Known to be chronically dissatisfied with handoffs, inconsistency, and missed partnership opportunities; and regarded as a valuable guide to the organization in constantly hunting for opportunities to cull waste.

Need to know: In addition to these results, I am an adept problem solver. I do not back down from difficult problems and throughout my career I have been to go-to person for handling complicated problems such as influence mapping of shareholder advisory firms, acquisitive business simplification, workplace flexibility and underlying implications. My business experience and perspective is broad and I have the courage and focus to bring that to bear on important and meaningful issues in the HR space.
