Workforce types directly supported: To date I have worked within Life Sciences and High Tech companies, giving me expert knowledge in supporting workforces spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management, corporate functions, sales and marketing, installation and service technicians

Current home country: Switzerland with no restrictions on travel globally. Am also open to cross border work arrangements, and/or spending time across other continents balanced with my Swiss home office.

Team management: Have managed teams of up to 10 people scattered globally. Am happy to continue in leading teams, or setting up or reorganising functional teams.

Current/recent employer: most recent employer has circa 20,000 employees globally with annual sales of circa US 25 million. Largest employer to date had 65,000 employees globally with annual sales of over EUR 14 billion

Remits of particular interest: I enjoyed working within scientific and technology related companies and have an interest in working within either an established organisation, or within a startup setting. I am considered to have advanced expertise for Total Rewards, pensions, wellness and DEI issues plus labor law knowledge for key countries around the world. I am open to building the Rewards function from scratch either globally or regionally; or implementing improvements across an existing Rewards function. I’d also be open to combined HR and Rewards leadership roles, working with local HR managers and business executives. I have a Masters in HR Management, and pride myself on understanding the entire life cycle of HR management, inclusive of HR processes and operations, DE&I, retention, compensation & social security & pension/retirement management, labor laws across multiple juridictions, plus regional and local HR management best practices. I like a balance of strategic work, design and implementation.

Unique expertise: My career to date has spanned financial services, life sciences and high tech industries with a focus on supporting employees in over 40 countries. Across all continents I have repeatedly managed projects on site; and successfully and sustainably completed them together whilst collaborating with HR and Rewards colleagues

Commerciality: Implementation of a unified insurance brokerage over 40 countries and within 8 months, that delivered cost savings / cost avoidance of USD 1.5 million in its first year

Strengths: I have the experience and understanding of many country-specific characteristics and cultures which helps me feel at home all over the world. My diplomacy and negotiation skills have proved to be of high value to my employers.

  • I try to stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with the latest trends and advancements in reward management. For example, I’ve been able to effectively integrate new technologies (AI, machine learning, gamification) into rewards programs to improve engagement and overall program effectiveness

  • I also take a holistic approach to rewards programs that considers the broader organizational context. I understand the interplay between rewards and other HR practices, such as performance management, talent development, and culture building. I am able to align reward strategies with business objectives and ensure coherence between various HR initiatives.
