HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER

We’re seeking an HRIS and HR technology architecture expert for this international company that has recently rolled out Workday across their global sites.

At this point, we need a technology expert who can drive the ongoing management and maximise utilisation of Workday; and “marry it” to a range of other systems and apps to ensure that interconnectivity is useful, successful, compliant and scalable.

In addition, this person will be applying their technical expertise for the exploration, purchase and implementation of an array of other systems, apps and AI technologies, to help enable more efficient and data focused service delivery by HR teams around the world.

This role will particularly suit the expert who can think about current AND future technology architecture needs, and who can “troubleshoot” likely issues from an implementation, application, utilisation and legislative requirements perspective - we need a leader who can identify likely risks and plan for those well in advance of any efforts to purchase and adapt new technology solutions. A leader who can “trouble shoot” errors with multiple technology interfaces, and who can lead IT or other functional team members to the likely solutions.

This will be a particularly interesting role for the professional who has flair for being the “super user” of HR systems, and a curiosity for “what’s next” in technology innovations. Regular attendance at HR tech conferences can be expected!.

This is an ideal role for the person who loves being the subject matter expert and advocate for the capabilities of systems, apps and other technologies….who appreciates the power of the data they can produce, and the time they can save.

Our successful leader will offer the following:

  • Ideally deep knowledge of the Workday system. However we’re also very open to leaders who have advanced knowledge of other HRIS systems and extensive system implementation and adaption experience, in which case we will support training to achieve Workday system proficiency

  • A track record of achieving data quality and consistency - this company has grown rapidly over time so you can expect to inherit a variety of systems and Excel spreadsheets!

  • Ability to harness virtual resources - you’ll be working through HR peers, Business Leaders, IT peers and external product vendors; and will need to engage and direct a variety of stakeholders to achieve results

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a need to identify both current and future requirements for system use, and plan accordingly

  • Ideally, a history of working successfully across the complicated matrix of global companies.

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills - given you’ll need need to convey technical requirements to non-technical people on a daily basis!

Based in the Bracknell area, this permanent, salaried role will attract an annual base of up to £80,000 (varying depending on experience level) plus bonus and a range of benefits.

The role will require current EU citizenship and regular travel can be expected across the region and occasionally to mainland Europe, Asia and the Americas.
