This role is critical to enable current business expansion plans.  This company needs your thought leadership, creativity, and holistic expertise to develop and deliver on recruiting strategies to engage, attract and retain talent in a globally competitive market.

Historically, the company has operated with regional recruiters fulfilling relatively basic hiring needs. As a result, frameworks for process efficiency and consistency, employer branding, candidate experience, talent pipelining, stakeholder management, social media communications, diversity, performance metrics, team technical capability and more…..are at best immature, if they even exist at all.

Changes in the company’s leadership ranks have brought in stakeholders who have worked elsewhere with great TA support. Additionally, the company is starting to feel the effects of not applying a more strategic and thorough approach to TA efforts, and lack of quality hires in a timely fashion is hurting organisational growth plans. Both of these elements are key drivers for the investment in this role.

As the global leader for the TA function, you’ll be relied upon to identify and implement cutting edge TA methodologies, making full use of technology, social media, AI, network utilisation, referrals, “grow your own”, employer branding plus diversity & inclusion partnerships.  Additionally you’ll need to ensure that regulatory compliance and fair selection processes are adhered to.  Your advisory expertise will be expected on short and long term planning, succession plan coverage, talent gap strategies and staffing trends.

Key internal stakeholders will be manufacturing site leaders, global corporate executives and HR leaders around the world, who are keen to utilise quality data to determine trends, risks, hiring quality and more. We’ve hearing that there is heavy executive appetite for any ROI provable investment to enable TA capabilities.

We need an engaging, credible and collaborative TA leader who can inspire their own team and others; and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved tactically when needed. In return, you’ll be well rewarded financially, plus have the satisfaction of knowing that your skills, experience and efforts are directly contributing to the company’s expansion efforts around the world.

Our ideal TA professional will be able to offer:

  • Advanced English for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders with exceptional attention to detail. 

  • A history of working within a data driven in-house environment -  all stakeholders are  keen for factual analysis to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more.

  • An ability to translate complex data analytics into a commercial conversation whilst demonstrating ROI value.

  • Direct experience within a manufacturing or production company setting, and an advanced knowledge of production terminologies and the range of roles required for R&D through to distribution - this will be extremely useful to gain traction and credibility with key stakeholders quickly.  

We have some flexibility for location, given this role could be based with key stakeholders at sites in Europe, or East Coast USA or southern states USA - given the immaturity of the TA function we expect heavy levels of “water cooler” moments and education may be needed to garner mid management level sponsorship to understand the power of a great performing TA team. Salary from six figures, and package dependent on location.

This hire is available to UK, EU and US citizens, and professionals who have immediate eligibility for a US work visa.
