HR Business Partner with expertise in "heavy lifting", high volume, ER impacting change

Primary specialism: HR Business Partner

Markets with deep expertise: - Europe, particularly Germany, Switzerland and Austria; and oversight of AsiaPacific countries

Languages: English & German to business fluency 

Salary expectations: Base from 200,000 CHF plus package 

Workforce types directly supported: Blue and white collar populations ranging from manufacturing, sales, marketing, medical & scientific, and corporate functions

Current home country: EU national, currently in Switzerland with C-permit for full work rights within that country

Team management: Line manager for up to eight direct reports and preference to keep some team responsibility; also open to particularly interesting sole contributor roles

Current/recent employer:  Blue chip employers include companies of 170,000+ employees and regional revenues of 40billion euros; and 120,000+ employees and revenues of 40billion USD

Remits of particular interest: Head HR/HRBP for multiple countries.  Open to industry sector and company size.  Enjoys full HR cycle, inclusive of coaching and advising line managers on HR and ER matters; partnering with employee representative bodies, unions and local authorities; HR  project management

Unique expertise: Has a law degree with specialisation in labor law.  Has worked at multiple levels spanning local production sites, regional business units, and as a global HRBP & ER specialist.  Deep understanding of employee and industrial relation frameworks inclusive of UN Global Compact, Human Rights and employee representative bodies.

Commerciality: Has led reorganisation and multiple outsourcing projects requiring negotiations with employee representative bodies, cooperation with local authorities, calculation of severance budgets, and risk assessments (e.g. project with 1,200 affected employees, and restructuring costs >€6 million; project including vendor selection process for contract of €1.2million; M&A global project affecting 17,0000 employees)

Strengths: Deep ER expertise, but also a passion for people development, and has organised various development and coaching programmes.  Track record of achieving organisational objectives after successful consultations with employee representatives and management concerning confidential projects and initiatives.  

Need to know: Unique blend of skills and experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations and Labour Law, paired with professionalism, pragmatism and hands-on mentality.
