HR Manager - Paris, France

At a time of meaningful change, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager who thrives in dynamic environments. This is a hands-on HR Generalist role, taking ownership of day-to-day HR activities while driving improvements that create real, measurable impact.
Reporting directly to an inspiring Head of Europe, you will own the full HR agenda for France, supporting a small but complex and diverse workforce across both commercial and corporate functions. You will act as a trusted advisor and advocate for progressive, business-enabling HR practices.
There is no shortage of priorities to work through inclusive of:
Lead the HR function for France, providing commercially focused support to leaders in a fast-growing business.
Own employee relations, employment law, and works council matters, ensuring compliance with French labour legislation.
Drive recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning to support continued organisational growth.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll and benefits coordination, contracts, HR operations, and HR systems.
Foster a high-performance culture by coaching leaders, enhancing employee experience, and supporting wellbeing and development.
Lead HR projects, organisational change, and process improvements, aligning local practices with regional and global objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Strong expertise in French employment law and employee relations.
Confident operating autonomously as the senior HR lead in-country.
Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Proven ability to balance strategic HR partnering with operational HR delivery.
Experience supporting commercial, marketing and/or sales populations would be advantageous.
Fluent written and spoken French and English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
Package includes a base salary from €70,000 to €75,000 (depending on experience level), plus benefits and performance bonus.
The role is based in Paris with a 3 day per week hybrid office arrangement.
