HR Generalist – Hybrid, Germany

If you’re the kind of professional who thrives on diverse HR responsibilities, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and takes pride in being the ‘first contact’ for a wide range of HR topics, this role could be perfect for you.

This well-resourced division of a global company is continuing to grow, driven by innovation, new product development, and strategic acquisitions. To support these ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for a versatile HR professional with strong generalist experience.

Reporting to an inspiring HR Manager at a key manufacturing site, you’ll bring your expertise in HR to deliver high-quality support at the German site, ensuring operational excellence and contributing real value to the business, while also supporting payroll processes across the wider regions. As the company continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities for you to broaden the scope of your role and responsibilities.

There is no shortage of priorities to work through, including:

  • Providing comprehensive HR administrative support

  • Coordinating and enhancing the onboarding experience for new hires

  • Managing and optimising HRIS data and reporting, identifying trends and initiating appropriate actions

  • Leading and contributing to both local and international HR projects

  • Advising business leaders and employees on a wide range of HR matters

  • Supporting payroll operations and liaising with external vendors

We are looking for someone with the appetite to focus on solutions rather than problems and who brings a level of professionalism, energy, and inspiration to others. An understanding of German employment legislation will be required, and fluent English and German language skills are essential.

Given the company’s ambitious growth plans, this is a great opportunity for an HR professional who’s eager to take on increasing levels of responsibility and grow with the business.

The role is based around one hour from Cologne and offers a flexible hybrid working model, with a base salary of up to EUR 70,000 (depending on experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package.

If this sounds like the kind of varied role that will suit your skills, interests, and expertise, please get in touch in confidence today – we’ll be happy to share additional details.
