Senior HR Generalist/Business Partner – United Kingdom

This well-resourced division of a global company is continuing to grow, driven by innovation, new product development, and strategic acquisitions.  To support these ambitious growth plans, we’re looking for a versatile HR professional with strong generalist experience, someone agile, hands-on, and solutions focused, who is eager to drive meaningful change in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting directly to an inspiring CHRO, you’ll own the full day-to-day HR agenda for a key manufacturing site, supporting a diverse workforce of both white- and blue-collar employees.  You’ll act as a trusted advisor and advocate for progressive, business-enabling HR practices.

There is no shortage of priorities to work through inclusive of:

  • Repositioning HR services from traditional, reactive “policy policing” to proactive, enabling support, along with a good measure of strategic thinking and harnessing quality data to ensure informed decision making

  • Building effective stakeholder relationships based on business enabling partnerships, rather than the very frustrating “just read the handbook” approach

  • Enhancing employee engagement and cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace culture

  • Providing support and guidance to mangers on performance related issues

  • Managing and optimising HRIS data and reporting

  • Ensuring full compliance with employment legislation and proactively mitigating risk

Package includes a base salary from £65,000 (depending on experience level), plus benefits and performance bonus.

Initially full-time on-site (Dorset area), with hybrid flexibility as the role evolves.
