Senior HR Leader, Nordics, Sweden work base

We’re seeking an accomplished Senior HR Leader to lead the people strategy across a multi-country regional organisation and a global technology-driven business. This is a rare opportunity to shape culture, elevate leadership capability, and drive transformation on an international stage.

This is a high-impact, strategically diverse role - ideal for an HR leader who thrives on complexity and continuous improvement within a matrixed, multicultural environment. You’ll be a modern, commercially minded HR professional who knows how to connect people strategy with business performance, influence at senior levels, and bring fresh thinking to how organisations evolve and succeed.

The company is growing rapidly and entering an exciting period of significant transformation - encompassing organisational restructuring and modernisation across production operations.  As a trusted HR leader, you will play a central role in guiding this growth and change: shaping organisational design, advising on employee relations and workforce risk, and driving initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

This person will also focus on developing, inspiring, and managing HR teams located across specialist manufacturing and R&D facilities - building capability, connection, and a shared sense of purpose across geographies.

You’ll be part of a global team passionate about progress, innovation, and making a measurable impact. For an ambitious HR leader, this is a unique opportunity to help steer a thriving organisation through a pivotal chapter of evolution and success.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain effective union and Works Council relationships based on partnership and proactivity.

  • Partner with senior executives to translate business goals into people strategies that elevate performance and engagement.

  • Lead a regional HR team across the Nordics, ensuring operational excellence, strong collaboration, and an outstanding employee experience.

  • Drive global workforce initiatives, including leadership capability, organisation design, and talent development, to support long-term growth.

  • Foster an inclusive, empowering culture that promotes belonging and wellbeing across diverse teams.

  • Navigate complex organisational change and transformation, providing strategic HR insight and decisive change leadership.

  • Build trusted relationships with regional stakeholders and employee representatives, ensuring alignment, compliance, and mutual respect.

  • Inspire, coach, and develop HR professionals to deliver high-impact outcomes and grow their leadership potential.

This person will offer well-rounded HR expertise and track record for delivering sustainable results with Senior Director level responsibilities.

This reputable company is well-resourced, and its products are literally contributing to save the lives of people around the world - you should achieve great satisfaction from working in a mission-driven culture, and the company offers genuinely diverse career opportunities to its high-performance employees.

This is not a remote work arrangement, this HR leader will need to be a visible, inspiring and supportive presence on-site (commutable from Stockholm) 5-days a week.  Additionally, this person should be looking to commit to regional and international travel. Fluent English and Swedish is essential.

A base salary from SEK 1.5m (with flex depending on experience) plus an attractive benefits package is on offer.  Relocation support is available.
