Our Professional Partnership Agreement

Entering into a outplacement program requires a significant commitment of time, energy and trust.  We take this commitment seriously, and as such, we have high expectations for a mutually respectful working partnership.

 

OUR PROMISE TO YOU:

Information & Privacy: The reputation of our business relies on discretion and trust.  Any information relating to and provided by you will be kept confidential, and only shared following expressed consent from you.  We will remain compliant with relevant data protection legislation. Transparency: We will always act with integrity in ensuring you have all the insights and knowledge we have into the job market for roles you have interest in, to help you in making informed decisions about the relevance of prospective career roles to your professional and personal plans.

Feedback: We will always provide open, honest and timely feedback (both positive and developmental) throughout each hiring process. 

Interview Assistance: We will provide comprehensive advice and support through a “mock” interview process that will be similarly rigorous to the “live” interviews you can expect to experience from any specialist executive search firm. This will enable you to hone your interview technique and competitive pitch to ensure you presenting as strongly as possible for future functional expertise job interviews. We will continue to be readily available for advice as you proceed with your own job search endeavours.

Post Outplacement Program: We will remain available to act as a “sounding board” if required through your job search, and for additional career advice and support when you need it.  We are committed to our on-going professional relationship as your trusted career advisor and advocate.

 

YOUR COMMITMENT:

Time: We recommend you allocate 2-3 weeks to complete this outplacement program. With the many elements involved in this, plus the job searching we expect you do be doing in parallel to this program, please ensure you commit to fitting all of this into your personal (and any handover work) schedule; and update us on any likely scheduling conflicts (eg: pre booked holidays/medical appointments etc). Be ready to show as much flexibility as possible - the aim is for us to have you fully prepared with all of the tools and knowledge you need to get you working again as soon as possible. 

Transparency: Please be upfront on any mitigating circumstances that would affect your availability and your commitment to investing your full efforts into this outplacement program. We will dedicate our time and energy to give you all the tools you need to be successful in your job search, but can only help if we really understand your motivations, your interest areas, and your development needs. 

Documentation: You will be required to complete various compliance documentation during the process and we ask that this be returned within 24 working hours of being requested. 

Career History: Ensure your CV/Resume is an accurate record of your education, work experience, technical abilities and certifications; with any time gaps in your work history accurately recorded.

Social Media: Please ensure all digital/social media profiles (including photos/account names/email addresses) are appropriately professional; or ensure that potential employers are unable to access them.

Communication:  Please keep us updated on the most time effective way to contact you. 

Feedback: We will be sharing direct but constructive feedback regularly throughout this program. We may be discussing presentation aspects that are unexpected and/or uncomfortable for you. It is normal for our professionals to receive feedback that they’ve never encountered before. Please do take it in the good grace that is intended - we have a vested interest to help you to stand out from your job seeking competitors and as a result, want you to be aware of any development areas that may need attention.
