HRIS Leader - well resourced global company in growth mode - based near Boston, MA

HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER

We’re seeking an HRIS expert for this half-billion-dollar revenue company, seeking to double in size in a short space of time – they’re cash rich and have invested significantly in the future of their human capital.

They are ready now to roll out Workday across their global sites, and need an accomplished HRIS leader who is happy to “get stuck in” and make this project a success. This is an ideal role for a professional who will relish the opportunity to build a fully functioning, scalable HRIS. Someone who loves being the subject matter expert and advocate for the capabilities of the system and the data it can produce.  Given the growth plans for the company, it could also be possible for this person to build and lead a global HRIS and analytics team in the future.

Our successful leader will offer the following:

  • Ideally deep knowledge of the Workday system. However we’re also very open to leaders who have advanced knowledge of other HRIS systems and extensive system implementation experience, in which case we will support training to achieve Workday system proficiency

  • A track record of achieving data quality and consistency - this company has grown rapidly over time so you can expect to inherit a variety of systems and Excel spreadsheets!

  • Ability to harness virtual resources - with no immediate team to assist, you’ll be working through HR peers, Business Leaders, and IT gurus; so you will need to engage and direct a variety of stakeholders to achieve results

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a need to identify both current and future requirements for system use, and plan accordingly

  • Ideally, a history of working successfully across the complicated matrix of global companies.

  • First-hand experience of the “getting stuck in” element that is part of any young, dynamically growing organisation.

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills - with a need to influence and impress the C-Suite and peer HR leaders right from the outset. You will also need to convey technical requirements to non-technical people on a daily basis!

  • An interest and flair for training and coaching on this new system and its capabilities, for groups and on a one to one basis

This organisation has worked hard to keep their ‘entrepreneurial roots’ and they still have the agility of decision making (often around water coolers!) that is typical of a fast track company – collaboration remains in their DNA.   They also have the maturity to recognise that robust frameworks will be key to enable significant and sustainable growth and it’s exciting to see they have the cash and executive support to invest in quality resources.

Based close to Framingham, this permanent, salaried role will attract an annual base of circa $150,000 plus bonus and a range of benefits.  This role isn’t for “wall flowers” and will best suit the professional who gets excited by the responsibilities of project ownership, change and challenge and the impacts for business of great data!

The role will require current US citizenship and/or a current US work visa. Regular travel can be expected across the region and occasionally to Europe and Asia - likely to be in the order of at least 2-3 planned trips globally per year.
