Talent Acquisition Project Manager with communications flair - London, up to £100,000 plus package

HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER

This global company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to deliver results around the world.  Reporting into a Global VP of Talent Acquisition, this PM will be a key contributor to improving on the service delivery results of TA team members around the world.

With access to administrative support, this will be a high profile role, requiring regular but planned international travel across all continents.  The role is focussed on project management (scope, design, delivery, implementation, measurement, refinement) rather than ownership of recruitment assignments.

This rapidly expanding organisation is in growth mode due to an aggressive acquisition agenda.  They have a need to develop and refine their TA process and methodologies, part of which will include the global launch of an ATS this year, which is an immediate deliverable for this role.

Additionally, this Project Manager will need to design and develop a series of tools and frameworks to help attract niche skilled talent around the world, ideally maintaining a diversity agenda.  A high number of work contracts with this company are awarded on an expat package arrangement, so any initiatives to improve upon marketing and communications to those talent populations will be highly regarded.

Appropriate metrics, performance dashboards, utilising of technology for engagement & selection, talent mapping, advisory support on risk markets and talent pooling are all areas requiring the expert review of this Project Manager.

Refining the organisation of campus events, high volume hiring campaigns, internal talent transfers and executive succession planning; also require the review of this Project Manager.

The company is well resourced and reputable.  Operating frameworks have various levels of maturity (and some are still purely paper based!) so this Project Manager will need no qualms about "getting in and getting hands dirty"!

Our long "wish list" of hiring criteria includes:

  • Deep understanding of TA methodologies and processes

  • Advanced project management skills, ideally formal training/qualifications in these skills

  • Previous history of personally managing campus recruiting events and/or high volume hiring events and a track record for ensuring efficiencies, great candidate experience and ROI

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of technology utilisation (eg: AI, gamification, online assessments, social media utilisation)

  • Degree qualification (extremely well educated workforce will expect an academic peer)

  • History of designing and deploying diversity initiatives; and educating on equal opportunity compliance and bias through sourcing & selecting processes

  • A track record of thinking strategically, and backing this up with day to day "hands on" as required (this is not a cushy corporate office job!)

  • A stable, salaried career history showing progression and increasing levels of responsibility (apologies but contractors and consultants will not be considered by these hiring executives)

Culturally, this person will have more success in influencing through data and facts rather than just emotion.   There's also an element of "grey and grizzly" within the leadership team, which means this role won't suit a modest wallflower offering theoretical interventions, and/or who is uncomfortable in demonstrating ROI for projects!

Given the seasonal nature of some business units, any workforce planning skills will be useful.

There are multiple career progression options available, both lateral and vertical; within the company globally.  This role will suit a pragmatic, solutions focused professional who has a love for working across multiple cultures and geographies.

Based from Central London, this role will start from £80,000 base salary plus bonus, and benefits package.  EU citizenship is a must, and preference will be given to professionals in, or returning to the UK.
