This role is critical to enable current business expansion plans.  This company needs your thought leadership, creativity, and holistic expertise to develop and deliver on recruiting strategies to engage, attract and retain diverse talent, often with niche skills in a globally competitive market.

As the global leader for the TA function, you’ll be relied upon to identify and implement cutting edge TA methodologies, making full use of technology, social media, AI, network utilisation, referrals, “grow your own”, employer branding plus diversity & inclusion partnerships.  Additionally you’ll need to ensure that regulatory compliance and fair selection processes are adhered to.  Your advisory expertise will be expected on short and long term workforce planning, succession plan coverage, talent gap strategies and staffing trends.

Reporting into a well regarded CHRO, other key internal stakeholders will be Business Executives and their leadership teams, along with HR leaders within the US, Europe and Asia. All are keen to utilise quality data to determine trends, risks, hiring quality and more. However the TA function hasn’t had strong leadership historically, and this needs to be rectified in order to save a recruiting team who are busy being busy, and wearing themselves out in the process.

We need an engaging, credible and collaborative TA leader who can inspire their own team and others; and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved tactically when needed. Importantly, will be the ability to influence through facts, data, and ROI. And given that this young company is not even close to full maturity, a level of creativity will be needed as in this environment, the answer isn’t to open a chequebook to solve every problem.

Our ideal TA professional will be able to offer:

  • Advanced English for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders with exceptional attention to detail. 

  • A history of working within a data driven in-house environment -  all stakeholders are  keen for factual analysis to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more.

  • An ability to translate complex data analytics into a commercial conversation whilst demonstrating ROI value.

  • Direct experience within a tech sector company and/or in hiring for a range of tech sector workforces - this will be extremely useful to gain traction and credibility with key stakeholders quickly, and to pre-empt some of the challenges unique to these types of companies.

  • Expertise for hiring ideally across the Americas, Asia and Europe, and possibly you’ll have a history of living across multiple continents within your own working career.  

Given that C-suite stakeholders and existing workforces are literally scattered around the world, and used to working remotely, this role will be based ideally from your secure, dedicated home office. Post Covid restrictions, this person will also be expected to undertake planned travel across Europe, Asia and the USA. With a base salary equivalent to US$180,000 plus anuual bonus and hefty LTIP in advance of a company IPO, this company is serious about its intent to secure a truly international, high performance TA leader.
