European Talent Acquisition Director with global projects

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This company is in the business of helping to save lives. Their investment in R&D and new product development has consistently delivered year on year growth, and with more new products about to be launched in an array of health markets, they need expert help to continue hiring the skilled staff required to keep delivering great results for patients.

So we’re seeking an experienced TA leader, who will take ownership of developing and growing a high performance hiring team across multiple countries, whilst delivering business critical hiring results.

This is in effect, a “flying the plane whilst building it” scenario, so we need a Talent Acquisition leader who offers a “jack of all trades” mindset - there will be no shortage of change, ambiguity, “need it yesterday” projects and “all hands to the pump” moments. TA frameworks are in early stages of development. There are some useful tools and frameworks in place, but the company recognises that further tech stack investments would be advantageous, so our ideal leader will have a track record of improving TA efficiencies through “hands on” implementation of new technologies.

In the foreseeable term, this TA Director should be happy to personally case manage a slate of hiring projects; in addition to inspiring the team; building scalable frameworks, metrics, reporting, policy and process; contributing to global TA and HR projects; and being the TA subject matter expert and proactive TA partner to an array of business and HR stakeholders.

Reporting into an inspiring and well respected Global VP of TA, this person will offer expertise for:

  • Building and refining TA frameworks to enable diverse talent pools - exposure to healthcare, scientific and/or engineering communities will be particularly advantageous

  • Influencing through facts and data and advanced commercial accumen

  • Tailoring global TA policy, process and tools to suit regional stakeholders plus regulatory differences in a variety of countries

  • Juggling through operational delivery whilst applying “future state” thinking

  • A working knowledge of multi-jurisdictional labor laws across Europe and the UK

  • Advanced project management prowess

  • Successfully working through the complex matrix and reporting structures of a multinational company

  • Advanced commercial savvy with an ability to find solutions that match business needs

  • Collaboration, courage to stand your ground, and high degrees of emotional intelligence

  • Fluent English written and verbal language skills, and any additional EU language fluency will be welcomed.

This high profile role is available to current EU, UK or Swiss citizens and relocation support plus work visa assistance is on offer if required, for this role based within Switzerland.

Ideally, this person will be able to regularly attend key sites across Switzerland and Europe, although a hybrid work model exists to allow for some work-from-home flex as well. Occasional (and planned in advance) international travel is also expected, so a current passport and full Covid vaccination status will be essential to gain access to countries with this requirement.

A base salary from CHF 230,000 (flexible upwards depending on expertise level) plus an annual performance bonus and automatic LTIP program enrolment, in addition to extensive benefits make up the reward package for this role; and there is genuine opportunity for the role to broaden further in scope and/or for this person to be moved to new regional locations.

If this sounds like the challenge you've been seeking for your next career move, please do apply below. Interviews are being scheduled currently with a view to an employment offer being extended in the coming weeks.
