We’re seeking an accomplished equity management leader for a well-resourced, market leading company experiencing year-on-year growth across multiple continents. You might already be working as an expert in this field, or possibly you’ve done this specialist role historically, and would like to return to it with a view to knowing all the elements you’d like to improve on this time around!

  • This person will lead a dedicated team to oversee the administration of an array of share plans spanning RSU’s, Stock Options, PSU’s, and Deferred Compensation, all with a view to successfully managing plans and program performance, adherence to various legislations and audits and companies policies, plus SOX compliance.

  • As the Subject Matter Expert this leader will be the “go to” advisor on using different types of approaches to equity awards to drive performance to achieve short, mid and long-term business objectives, inclusive of environmental impacts, sustainable profitability, innovation, and talent diversity.

  • Additionally, this person will lead on global market analysis to regularly benchmark executive equity programs throughout the world; and will be responsible for shaping global strategy to attract, retain and engage key leadership talent, including package design and structure, tax planning, wealth management, and retirement.

  • Finally, this person will apply either direct knowledge and/or leverage networks in Global Equity regulations to manage communications to participants regarding tax compliance and local legislation to provide understanding on award/option taxation, whilst overseeing Performance Share Unit dividend payments for a significant number of employees.

In addition to your technical knowledge for the various share plan tools and equity management, we hope you will be known as:

  • a thought leader who can challenge the status quo and innovate new processes and solutions to achieve market-leading results

  • having multi-cultural awareness and first-hand knowledge of multi-jurisdictional challenges

  • able to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders with advanced written and verbal English

  • a proven partner with a track record of working successfully with teams outside of your direct control, particularly in working with Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, Data Management and Tax to address issues or changes in the share plans and related administration processes

  • enabling accurate reports to support audit and regulatory needs

  • having a successful track record for managing vendor relationships with equity administration systems providers.

This is a high-profile role within an international reward team that is undergoing significant transformation, to apply more modern approaches to all frameworks and tools and levers that drive innovation and sustainable performance. As a result you’ll need to be comfortable with the ambiguity and rapid flexibility that comes from a work environment experiencing change.

Whilst some remote work is available, this person will need to undertake regular travel to a London based HQ and possibly other international locations when needed.  A valid UK work visa or UK citizenship is essential to be considered for this role. The company is also offering a package that includes a base salary of circa £100,000 (depending on level of expertise) plus bonus and benefits.
