Markets with deep expertise: I have worked in both hemispheres and managed teams throughout these regions, mainly focused in the following continents - Europe, Middle East, Asia, North and South America. Mexico (Central America) USA and Canada. I have conducted business and either directly or indirectly been involved in over 50 countries payroll and HR Policies, Compensation & Benefits and labor unions.

Salary expectations: Current Base is 225,000 USD with 30% Bonus and Stock Options

Workforce types directly supported: Workforce experience ranges across diverse groups of HR and Finance functions, however, by region, I have managed in the HR domain: Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems and Processes, Call Centers, HR Transactions, Payroll and miscellaneous HR activities (onboarding, hire to retire activities, visa and immigration, HR Compliance). For Finance and IT, this includes controllers, financial analysts, management accountants, software engineers, application engineers and hardware engineers and well as vendor management.

Current home country: United States with mobility to work or relocate across Asia, Europe, Pacific, North America. Have US citizenship currently but eligible to apply for European dual citizenship having been born in an EU country.

Team management: Direct Reports varied throughout my career. Usually 8 - 10 direct reports for the various roles I have been in and from 125 to 300 indirect. My most desired position is a combined manager of teams that can also be a key contributor to the overall success of the organization and trusted adviser.

Current/recent employer: Global corporation of circa 33billion USD with 125,000 employees at its peak.

Remits of particular interest: Of all my recent roles, my main interests are with the HR Shared Services area, however being part of a HR Team in both Strategy and Execution would also be of interest. HR Shared Services could include, start-up, innovation, migration and and overall management.

Unique expertise: The largest contribution has been the number of cultures I have had the privilege in managing or working with globally. The ability to understand quickly the various diversity of thought, cultural norms, etc. and then managing within that mindset; At the same time allowing for a "blending" of all cultures when individuals are working together in the various areas I have been managing. Secondly, working within the IT, Finance and HR functions allows me a unique perspective of the full end to end and key touch points of many of the function activities & stakeholders (e.g. HR/Payroll/Finance with key support of IT systems); Finally, Just being able to both strategize and execute whilst also being willing to do the detail work when needed with the teams and/or individuals. Both in a decentralized and centralized area along with working globally, often times in a virtual way and able to manage teams globally across multiple time zones when travel is not an option. Project Management and change management abilities including C-Level stakeholders.

Commerciality: 1. Re-evaluation of the time system across North America across job functions, skill sets, areas in customizing the time system to allow for monitoring and changes with both line management, HR and employees allowing for an estimated $100M in reduced labor costs in 2015. 2. Consolidation and migration of several shared services centers into one HR Shared Services Center in KL with estimated savings of 25M AUD. 3. Creation of a transactions division to manage client HR transactions (Microsoft Pilot, Phillips, and other clients then managed from CZ; Creations of an ABAP team in CZ in order to properly manage and augment India SAP team for client change requests for system changes allowing for a new revenue stream of 2M USD. 3. Consolidations and migration of HR Hubs and COEs to Kuala Lumpur with estimated savings of $30M USD with no disruption to service. Migration of Canada and US HR/PY Operations (SSC) to Bogota Colombia (Call Center, Transactions, Payroll, Compliance Reporting, Onboarding, VOE, Statutory Reporting) with an estimated savings of 20M USD.

Strengths: The ability to manage complex situations and then formulate solutions and strategies to implement in the most efficient manner. Presentations and Change Management of senior executives to obtain budget and then manage the program overall to completion demonstrating HR value propositions, Employee Value and then continuously improve overall operations efficiencies and effectiveness. Analytical and staying abreast of industry changes in order to adopt best practices overall increasing Service Levels and key performance metrics..

Need to know: As mentioned above, I believe that having the ability to understand the many HR functions, touch points with other functions such as Finance, Management, Treasury, and business itself lends oneself to gather respect and trust. The ability to then deliver on the strategies, roadmap through effective management of teams and successful outcomes. Working with various business partners, (internal and external) also plays a key role in successfully execution of any delivery organization. Continuously looking for new ways of sharing information and demonstrating consistently the value of the shared services organization to the HR Community, employees and various key stakeholders.
